What is the Journey Journal?
It’s a space for you to explore who you are today and who you’ll be tomorrow. By reflecting on what you’re learning about yourself, what you need and want, as well as how you’re feeling during the journey, you’ll begin to build deep roots of self-awareness. Ultimately, this will lead to a more authentic, congruent life that not only makes you happier but also benefits those around you. When you show up authentically, you make the world a better place.
How do I use it?
However you want! I created this format for myself in 2017 when I was in a transition period. I don’t know about you, but during times of internal change, I often feel lost, confused, angry, and frustrated. Using the Journey Journal helped me make sense of what I was going through and keep an open, forward-looking mindset. Something about writing down these simple things provided sanity when I felt insane.
Liv’s Example Entry
This is a real entry from when I was just testing this format out. I was feeling restless and out-of-line with myself, so I used this daily for a month to help myself understand what I was feeling and, more importantly, why I was feeling it.
